which type of situation are you imagining where the child' father owes payments to the mother? In Thailand I've only ever heard of fathers here sending money to support their children as it's the right thing to do, not because of a mandatory child support system like we have in the west.

Offer her money and remind her future payments can easily be cut off. It would be nice not to have to play that card, but it’s what they understand.🤷🏿‍♂️

Of course. Happens with most Thai company structures where a nominee shareholder is also 1 of 4 employees paying social security to satisfy the requirements to issue a foreign work permit.

In the past I have used my foreign bank account records for proof of funds when applying for marriage visa in Phuket or from USA embassy. Not sure if the rules have changed.
