it’s a financial requirement, not an income requirement. It’s not a lot of money, especially for a 5 year visa. It’s not seen as an income requirement. Look at other visas like retirement and LTR. There are 2 financial requirements, monthly income and financial health.

not to be pedantic, but a lot of people don’t know this. Fiancée is for a woman and fiancé is for a man. So saying both fiancés would describe a gay relationship between 2 men.
