I just found out that the DTV Visa doesn’t limit the right to own a condo in Thailand.

would you buy or rent?

thinking about immagraiting to Thailand from the UK

have a 6yr old daughter though.

any advise on schools, costs etc

best area for families and affordable

better to buy but not sure how much fees would be to else the land?

or better to rent?

whats the best visa to go on?

I’m new to the group and visited Thailand 🇹🇭 in 2022…We Fell I Love ❤️ Since our visit we’ve been determined to revisit and will be returning in May 2026! Can’t wait! My husband says he wants to retire and live in Thailand part time, as we are not settled on the idea of leaving the states because of our kids and grands. We are 59 years young and have been seriously discussing it as a strong possibility.

What are your thoughts as for as age, places to stay, opportunities and how do we get started? We want to start now so that we will be prepared to make our move in the next two years or less…
