@Tod ********
Key point is to make sure you get that appointment card. They didnโ€™t give it to me when I got either extension.

@Tod ********
Yes, they sure did. They told me if I wanted to dispute it I had to go back over to CW and get a new little appointment card (that was never given to me in the first place). I do remember the IO at CW telling me I had to do the 90-day reporting when i received the 1-year extension.

So I went to MTT, and was told the the 90-day report was due from the date of the 60-day extension prior to the 1-year extension, which makes absolutely no sense since the 1-year extension application included full information about my address, etc.

Where is the current location in BKK for in-person reporting (Chaeng Watthana?) and what do I need to bring with me? I heard it takes a few days to setup online reporting so Iโ€™ll schedule that for next time.

@Tod ********
Itโ€™s my first ever extension. Thanks!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I just did this. Immigration at CW insisted on the 400K being in the bank for 2 months before you do the 1-year extension.

@Tod ********
Thanks, Tod. This is what I was hoping to hear!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I just did a 60-day extension of my Non-O yesterday at Chaengwatthana immigration. Since my visa expires in October, the IO told me I can do a 1-year extension on my next visit on September 14th. Need to have 400K in the bank for 2 months when applying for the 1-year extension.

@Tod ********
Tod is correct. I did a 60-day extension of an Non-O yesterday at Chaengwatthana. The next one I will do is a 1-year extension with 400K in the bank and the IO said it doesnโ€™t matter where the money comes from but it has to be in the account for 60 days before applying.
