Hey everyone,
Currently, I'm on a 90-day Non-O visa that expires on July 22nd, this coming Monday, which coincidentally is also a public holiday from what I understand.
Back on June 10th, I applied for a 1-year extension at the Phuket immigration office. It's been 5 weeks now, and my visa application is still pending. (Under Consideration)
Today, my partner went to check on the status and was advised to bring my passport on Tuesday the 23rd for stamping, starting from the 22nd, which was my previous visa expiration date.
I have a question: when you submit documents for a Non-O 1-year visa extension and it's still under consideration, do you still risk overstaying, even though it's ultimately up to immigration to make the final decision whenever that may be?
Appreciate any advice or insights you may have.
