Last Monday I went to do the 90 Day report at the Jomtien / Pattaya immigration office. Even though it was very crowded as it was the first day after the long weekend the process was quite smooth and fast.
BUT: When I checked my passport and the 90 report slip clipped into it I saw that it was not mine, but the one of an Indian guy. It was not easy to get back into the building without queuing again and to find an officer who was willing to correct their error. After looking into the case, an officer first told me I didn’t do the TM30 report. Of course I had done it and I showed him the slip in the passport. Finally he found me in their computer system and printed out a new and correct 90 day slip.
Now some Indian guy might get into trouble with my 90 day report slip in his passport...
Always check carefully after doing your reports!
