Anonymous participant 891 ok… semantics aside, you get my point. If my visa was denied, I would ask why.

I had questions for various visas. I asked, they answered. Why do you care?

Anonymous participant 891 I have, a few times. And was given information. It’s as if people are afraid 🤣

Anonymous participant 117 I've applied and no money was required. Only when approved that you make the transfer.

Anonymous participant your overstay isn’t tied to your passport… it’s an offense. Just like you can’t get out of a trafic infraction because you have a new driver’s license or lost it. An overstay is tied to the person. That said, taking classes is a very small requirement to have access to a long stay visa. The only other options are the elite visa (but your overstay could affect your chances), a retirement visa if your overstay 50, or getting married.

What you’re trying to say is that he is doing back to back visa exemptions. That’s usually tolerated once, but I’m not surprised he’s having problems. Either you space your visits (3 months in, 2-3 months out) or obtain the correct visa to live in Thailand.

I know the consulates in Laos check your eligibility for certain visas before applying. I accompanied a Chinese woman who applied and got her money back.
