Is there a possibility to extend a stay by about a week for medical reasons? This is for a dental procedure that requires roughly 3 weeks from beginning to end. I already received a 30 day extension to undertake this procedure but I've been informed that it would take a bit longer than expected. This would require an additional 8-10 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of extending their stay in Thailand for an additional week for a dental procedure. Responses indicate that medical extensions for dental procedures are generally difficult to obtain, as they are typically reserved for more serious medical conditions. Alternatives suggested include leaving the country and re-entering to receive a new 30-day stay or obtaining a letter from the dentist stating that flying would be too painful.

Very unlikely, as medical extensionscare generally only permitted if you're bed-ridden in hospital or if a doctor is willing to certify that it would be hazardous if you were to fly. A dental procedure doesn't really fall into either category. A border bounce or extension is your best approach
You have very little chance of getting a medical extension for a dental procedure. Medical extensions are for people who are physically unable to travel. You're probably going to have to leave and re-enter Thailand if you need more time.
