Hello, I need to stay in Thailand for an extra week. I already extended my exemption stamp by 30 days. I've heard and read that one can get an other 7 days at immigration. Can anyone confirm this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your stay in Thailand for an additional 7 days even after extending your exemption stamp by 30 days. However, this is typically done by receiving a specific stamp from immigration indicating that your extension is denied, allowing you 7 days to leave the country.

Sure, it's a "extension denied, you have 7 days to leave Thailand" stamp.

why not just book a round trip ticket out and back in for 2000 baht or less and then you get 30 more days. seems like a waste to spend another day at immigration and spend 1900 for a measly 7 days.
