Are you hiring someone? An employer is the one to do a work permit.

Perhaps you had an issue with NatWest because they do not allow their customers to be residents of Thailand. The following is their permitted list of countries. They may have been concerned about flagging a regulatory issue.

Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, China (Expats only), Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or the United States of America

I’m a bit shocked no one told him when he applied for his visa.

No. It’s not. Travel from the UK without a valid reason has been illegal for most of the pandemic. It’s not a Thai restriction.

personally, I’m really tired of the complaints about the girls (especially), the alcohol and the bars too. They don’t see their own behavior. They just love to attack.

David Broadfoot he’s just an angry, ranting lunatic.

Dwayne Du Plessis What does your being married to a Thai have to do with a retirement visa? It might help if you “spoke” coherently. You need to stop ranting about things you know nothing about. You even posted a video that didn’t support your point of view but tell me to do *my* research. Lol

If you’re working online, that’s not retirement. Meanwhile, that video is debunking the claim that expats are leaving Thailand.
