TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a work permit in Thailand, you first need to secure a job with an employer eligible to hire foreign workers. After obtaining a job offer, your employer will prepare the necessary paperwork and help you acquire a Non-B visa to enter Thailand. Once in Thailand, your employer will apply for the work permit on your behalf at the Ministry of Labor. It is recommended to consult with a reputable lawyer to streamline the process and handle the required documentation.

1. get a lawyer.
2. tell lawyer you want to start a company.
3. do what the lawyer tells you, including getting Thai investors and 4 employees
4. hire an agent to sort WP and visa every year if you can't stand red tape

Are you kidding or WTF?
Make a work permit ???? The answer is in your question. It is the permit for work !!!
You must first secure a job offer with an employer which is eligible to offer positions to foreigners. Then you will need to get a Non-B (business) or Non-O (family) visa and following that a Work Permit based on that.

You first hammer Thailand into a piece of paper then print Work Permit on the top. Get some people to sign it .

It’s true, your grammar is incorrect if you’re thinking about teaching English.
I would like to obtain a work permit in Thailand. Can someone inform the Process to me?

Apply for jobs, interview for jobs, get an offer from one, accept job, employer will then tell you what you need to do. If you time it well then you may get an offer just as Thailand decides to lift the ban on people arriving from India.

I think you need to go back to school to learn English before you consider working outside your native country
Difficult for employers to employ u. I heard the work permit cost an initial 150,000 bht for a foreign chef. Different profession will have different levy. So for them it’s always cheaper to employ a Thai
Find your Job here first if you can be the employer and the company will support your documents for your paper work that means you can apply the non b visa

You want to make work permit.. Wong way.. apply for a job,.if they want you, they will get you a permit. Same as every country including India
in Thailand a work permit (and its process) is different than a working visa like most other countries. If you can’t offer help then don’t bother commenting
here you get a visa, then a work permit, then another visa/extension.... in other countries you get a work visa. Quite different. I know because I’ve done it in multiple countries
its that easy, and if getting a job is difficult, perhaps you can try Paraguay or Chile, they have less hassle...

Go to at least 5 reputable lawyers and get quotes for /takeover or setup of a Thai company, doing a non b visa, get a office /address, get 4 workers. Youre looking at about 100-130k per year without the company setup.

A reputable lawyer, like Samui business in Maenam, can streamline the seemingly daunting red-tape. I printed the pile of documents officially required, he just extracted a cv and another paper from the pile, smooth process, 20 to 30,000 baht first year, renewal 5000
B. Your employer will prepare the paperwork and will post this to you (some embassies will allow for the paperwork to be emailed to you and you can print this off, most want originals)
C. Take the paperwork to your nearest Thai Embassy/Consulate and request a Non B visa. (now, owing to covid there are several other requirements to enter Thailand and no one can currently enter from India due to some pandemic issues).
C. IN NORMAL TIMES, enter Thailand with the NonB (90 days) and your employer will then apply for the work permit on your behalf at the ministry of labour.
Contact your nearest consulate/ embassy for the latest entry requirements.
