You don't have to collect your bags. They will automatically go to your final destination. Also if you decide to leave the airport. If you are back in time there will be no problem.

He is not right saying this. I know people also enter without a Thai insurance. Most important is that the insurance clearly mentions Covid and the amount you are covered for.

It will not work without Thai bank account? You should not look at how it will not work but how it can work. If you would not need a Thai bank account it would be nice for tourists.

We don't agree 😃 Especially not after remembering a post about people denied entry after they tried to enter on VE's after staying in Thailand with Covid extensions.

Yes. But that was after I was taken to a back office and told what I was coming to do. The story of my pregnant Thai girlfriend who went into labor the following week, supported by photos in which she can be seen with a big belly, did indeed help.
