I’m in a similar situation. Need to get my 1 month old daughter a passport so we can visit the UK in the summer. My wife is on a work visa and I’m on ED visa. Once we get her a passport do we add her on to my wife’s work visa?

KL has a limit of 200 I believe. Vientiane, I was there last week and met somebody that was number 850 so I don’t think any limit there. Get there early to be safe but last week with the Embassy being closed the guy that was number 850 said he rocked up after 11am and got his visa no problem despite the extra crowds.

So my steps are:

1. Go to Laos and get ED visa put in current passport with 4 pages left and return to Thailand (should have enough pages for Laos visa and Thai Ed visa)

2. Get back to BKK and apply for new passport at Embassy as soon as I get back (can take up to 8 weeks and I need to extend at immigration after 90 days).

How does it work with extensions after that when I get my new passport without the Ed visa in? Do I take both the new passport and old to immigration?

There are 4 blank pages, don’t see any endorsements on there so don’t think they are any 🤔

I don’t think anything can be done now, leave on 23rd October!
