What should I do if I didn't receive my TM.6 departure card back after transferring my ED Visa to a new passport in Thailand?

I recently got a new passport and yesterday went to Chaengwattana to transfer my stamps (ED Visa) from my old passport to new. When I got home I realised they didn’t give me back my TM.6 departure card back.

Any ideas what I need to do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After transferring your ED Visa stamps to a new passport at Chaengwattana, if you did not receive your TM.6 departure card back, you can return to the immigration office to ask for it. From previous experiences shared by other users, you may be able to get a new TM.6 issued, as many have successfully received replacements by confirming their registration on the system.

Lost it few times, nothing happened. They just give you a new one

I went to the airport immigration section. They found my registration number on the computer and gave me a new departure card, crossed out the number, and wrote down by hand my actual departure card number.

Just to clarify not all the comments were unhelpful, so thanks to the people that helped out and weren’t basically calling me an idiot for a simple mistake.

@Vi***
, you aren't gonna get an extension on your visa without a TM.6 card so go make a police report stating you lost it, then when you go for your extension you'll have it to show and they'll give you a new one before they issue you your next extension.

Im sure it will be, was just wanting to know the procedure to reduce time at immigration filling in forms and making copies etc.

Can I ask for it when I go back next month to extend? Don’t really wanna spent a 3 hour trip to go for it.
