TLDR : Answer Summary
When leaving Thailand with a baby born in the country, it is necessary to show the child's Thai birth certificate at immigration. This process allows the baby to have their passport stamped even if it does not contain any previous stamps. Experiences shared by other expats indicate that the immigration process is generally straightforward, but it may require additional time to queue at the appropriate office.

I think we solved this conundrum, that the baby just stamps out of thailand on it's passport by showing the birth certificate.

We didn’t do anything. Just went through immigration as normal

just show them the thai birth certificate and plan some time ahead your flight, it took us about 20-30 min as you need to queue at the same office as overstay
.....so, if the child was born in Thailand and leaves Thailand on a British/USA or other passport you just show passport and birth certificate to immigration upon leaving the country ?
