Jomtien - 10-15 minutes from Pattaya on the coast but more chilled. And ignore all the negative comments about Pattaya, not everyone (including me) comes here for the bars, booze & girls. There are also many great restaurants and some regular pubs & bars and there are even families with children that come here for a vacation.

I always use Skype for international landline or mobile calls as their rates are extremely low (as little as a few cents per CALL). I loaded $10 about 3 years ago and still have a $4 balance!
