I am very grateful for all the help that’s been provided however I’m now confused as I’m on my first retirement visa that is currently less than 90 days old. How is this an extension?

I’m not sure it even concerns the question I originally asked. I’m now aware I need the DTAC and have completed the information required. So with the visa stamp and re entry all within date in my passport I don’t foresee any issues.

Thanks again for the help.

I’m as yet not required to do my first 90 report it was due next week the first week of my return to Thailand. As I’ve left the country I don’t think it will be required until 90 days after I re entered the kingdom. Or that is how I understand it. Please correct me if this is not the case

I have a retirement visa and a single re entry permit as far as I’m aware you can’t get a re entry without a valid long term visa. So the question still stands do I require a TDAC ?

Thank you guys and yes I believe you do need to do your first 90 report in person but after that you can do the others online. I’ve always done mine in person in the past but thought immigration might be a nightmare this week with the run up to Songkran.

Anyway, thank you for your replies, I feel reassured.

From my experience, I had one that was valid for 12 months from the date of issue. I still got fined in Chiangmai as they will only recognize the validity for 3 months. Right or wrong this is fact. Better to take this document to the driver licensing authority and take a simple eyesight colour test and watch a 40 minute video to be fully insured and legal.

I hope all this information helps someone, and I’m very grateful for all the replies. I knew I had placed it in a safe place, but that even prevented me from finding it, until now! If it wasn’t for changing a leaky tap I’m might never have found it. What retard put a passport in a tool box?

This one!

Thank you to those who took the time to reply. I love the way people take the time to help out others, I hope one day I can return the favour.

Thank you Guys, it appears that the box with all these photocopies, passport and bank books is the one box that’s missing. However your recommendations are much appreciated, as I’ve not been in this situation before. Thanks
