If you own up at border exit, you will cop a 20,000 baht fine and a 5 year ban. If they catch you before you get there, it’s a 20,000 fine, deportation and at least a 10 year ban - you will be jailed for the duration during this process.

i asked at Immigration today and that is what I was told. I know TiT and all that, and different IOs can be variable on some points, but the IO's I spoke to were very clear - it is basically just TVs applied for from outside the country.

Mohamed Ahmad it is my understanding that both visa free 30d AND Visa On Arrival (VOA) no longer qualify and they will need to leave.
