Mike Smith If you got a yellow book and a Thai ID card then you have added circumstances in Thailand. Either you are a property owner or are married. The average tourist on a DTV can't open a bank account, get a yellow book or an ID card. Also? When did you do all of this? Before or after the recent crackdown on people getting an account with a DTV?

Thomas Lyall Yes. The Thai owner holds the blue book in their name, and the foreigner, registered at the address, has a yellow book in their name.

for any assets bought while married. She can sell it, but not without the husbands permission and 50% of the sale price.
