The general rule is 72hrs before scheduled departure time. So if you check in with the appropriately timed test result, and then the flight is delayed, there is no problem.
You can apply for a TR60 on the Thai e-visa site. This will give you 60 days. You can extend this visa for 1,900 baht at immigration offices in Thailand, giving you an extra 30 days.
I’ve seen many reports of UK and EU e-visa delays. Some waiting since 1st Nov. I’m in the UK and applied for TR60 e-visa on 3rd Nov. Still ‘pending document check’. I don’t fly until end of Nov, so I’m just being patient. I assume they’re working through the backlog in order of departure flights.
ah lucky you. It seems you did yours just before the system failure. I applied on 3rd Nov, still waiting. I’ve seen many other reports of still “pending document check” from people who applied from early November. 🤔
