Can anybody advise what would happen if my flight is delayed and this then causes my RT PCR test to be over 72 hours? I can’t get hold of my airline and there’s nothing on there website, I have a very tight booking due to being over Christmas and limited availability in my areas for tests 😬
TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers are required to have their RT-PCR test results within 72 hours of flight departure. If your flight is delayed but your test was taken within the necessary timeframe before your scheduled departure, you should not face issues. However, there is confusion regarding the testing timelines, especially for transit through Singapore, where tests must be taken within two days of the flight to Singapore, not 72 hours. It's advised to check with airlines for specific regulations as they can change.
