Just to let worried people know about the new day 7 test needed it’s only an antigen test you do yourself and you only need to email results to the hotel if it’s positive if it’s negative you throw in the Bin and do nothing

Morchana app didn’t work for me either. I did the rapid test the Test& Go hotel gave me on the 6th day after checking out, and just sent a photo of the negative result to the hotel.

The test and go rules were always a self administered rapid antigen test and you are supposed to report the results in the MorChana app.

The new rules will be a PCR instead of the antigen test for any new arrival to Thailand, regardless of when your Thai pass went it. These rules won't come into affect though until the royal gazette is published.

 nowhere on the morchana app to upload , you just had to email the results to the hotel you arrived at and they uploaded it to somewhere

As I see it..people who got the pass before 00.00 December 21..follow old rules....after that it will be the new rules...its a wait and see time...

Starting from last night midnight .

Anyone that's been approved on the test and go prior from today now have to have a PCR test on day 7 not a antigen test which what it was before .

P.S it is also no extra cost for this second test ...

 you make sure you are not or risk the chance of getting arrested like the guy yesterday who skipped on his test and go hotel before he got his results.

They tracked him from bangkok to pattaya back to bangkok then to samui

 They just cannot implement it immediately. The proposal will go to The Royal Gazette once it gets approved it will get implemented. People travelling after 26th will have to do test on 7th Day. (RT PCR).

 supposed to report it in the MorChana app. When I came last month I wasn't given any instructions about it though.

This time hotel telling me I need the MorChana app but it won't recognise my Thailand Pass. So good luck getting me to report it that way.... 🙄
