Good day to you all. I plan to apply for the DTV and can register in Spain, where I currently live as a self-employed worker but there is also the option of the e-Residency from Estonia. That enables me to work like that as well. Does anybody have experience applying for the DTV while using Estonia`s e-Residency as a freelancer? The main reason to choose Estonia would be financial, freelancers pay a hefty fee here in Spain on top of your taxes. Thanks!
Last year I successfully applied for a UK holiday visa for my TGF. This year I want to apply for a Schengen visa to visit Spain. I have 48 pages of docs submitted for last year's visa so I don't need an agent. What I want is help in securing an appointment to deliver the application and support docs from someone who has navigated the system. Cheers.
I know this group is for the Destination Thailand Visa, but since many digital nomads are here and everyone’s so supportive, I wanted to ask for advice.
I’m Spanish, and my business is registered in Spain. Now that I have a digital nomad visa, I can stay in Thailand for five years.
Is anyone here from Spain or Europe who’s registered their business in a different country than their country of origin?
Any advice on where I could register, and make it easier for me as a new business would be super helpful.
Any insights, resources, consultant recommendations, etc would be much appreciated. 🙏
UPDATE: After 10 days I have been approved for the DTV visa.
After been asked for a NIE (document for foreign residents in Spain) I sent my DNi from my native country expecting to be rejected and denied the visa.
But, they then required a hotel booking for proof of location or rental contract or letter of invitation(even though already sent it when initially applied).
This was checked on the same day and got the approval in the evening on my email 🙂
I applied for my DTV in Spain but I'm from another country, I few weeks ago a british guy got it approved here and as a proof of location he added his airbnb reservation so thats what I also attached. I'm now being requested as an extra documentation a NIE which it's a document that only Spanish residents own. Any advice on how to proceed?
I am a UK citizen with a Spanish residency NIE card. I am marrying a Thai lady soon in the UK, and we would like to go to Spain after we marry.
My question is: does she need to return to Thailand to obtain a visa for Spain or can she apply here in the UK or can she travel with me without a visa because we are married and I have a residency permit.?
My husband and I have just applied on line for a 60 day visa. We normally get it from Hull UK but that is now closed. We are in Spain and will fly from Madrid 31st December until 20th March.
Yesterday my husband received an email saying its been declined because we can't supply a copy of a utility bill which we've never had to supply before. We are renting here in Spain so any bills are in the owners name,
So the lady said we can arrive and we'll get 30 days thought it was 45? Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do?
We normally split the holiday and fly to Kuala Lumpur and get another 30 days but will they let us back in?...and then go to immigration and get another 30 days we need 81days.
We are pensioners been travelling to Thailand over 20 years so a bit shocked with the decline.
