my last landlord was dodgy and didn’t do one. Immigration sent me away there but told me what I needed to do. Checked into a hotel for one night and went back later the same afternoon. Same woman sorted me no problem. Every other time there no problem, did about 5 other extensions there. You don’t need a print out there they just check the system.
Hua Hin office are fantastic. As long as your TM30 is registered it’s plain sailing. They have people there to make sure you have everything in order before you even see an IO then they have you sorted within minutes at the desk.
I teach English online. The site I work for only accept native speakers. Accent is one as it’s clear and we are born into the language. We also have a much wider range than someone who has a ‘good command of it’ idioms, casual phrases, slang (yes that’s also important when teaching ) Many reasons.
you can’t hold classes yourself as that would be working…if that’s what you meant. If your only after 6-8 months then get a multi entry tourist visa, you won’t need an agent for that. Check your own govt website for travel to Thailand, all your options will be on there.
Had a lot of policies over the years. Usually 12 months and extendable up to a maximum of 24 months. Normally have to have been in the UK for 6 months out of the previous 12 (backpacker policies). Google is your friend more than a FB group though so do your own research.
