Sorry I’m not an American so that I don’t know. You are required to have had the requisite amount, 800K I believe, for 3 consecutive months prior to your application.

“Takes a few weeks to get a new passport here.” If you’re Irish, it takes 10-15 days.

You get a “guarantee letter” from a Thai bank. They have them as a pro forma and just add your name and details.

Seems like they only want KBank customers to know about it which is why it’s only on the app. Strange.

Yeah all that stuff is standard fare but before a person went to the trouble of opening an account and downloading an app, they would need some basic info about the promotion on offer which can usually be found on a website affiliated with the bank. It appears not in this case.

Sure but most banks charge for incoming overseas payments. Thai banks do, too.

Ok thanks. I want to open a KBank account but have been using SCB for the last 21 years. That’s why I asked. I did have an account with KBank before that but when it was Thai Farmers Bank.
