I will do the dreaded annual Non O via marriage visa renewal again soon. Does anyone know if, after you’ve had the interview, submitted all the docs and seasoned the 400K THB for 2 months, whether you are still required to keep the cash in the bank till you come to get the result of your application? I ask cos the last two times when I went to collect my newly stamped passport, they didn’t ask to see proof of the 400K THB. TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they must maintain the 400K THB in their bank account until receiving the results of their Non-O visa renewal application. Previous experiences suggested that this proof was not requested at the time of passport collection. Commenters advise that requirements may vary by office and suggest confirming the specific policy during the application process.

When you go you can ask them because every office has there own rules

That’s probably going to be another case of “it depends on the office you use”. Ask them their policy when you apply.

. Ive done it at Changwatanna 6 times . First 4 it was required. Last two times they said " not necessary".

I kept it there anyway, because they have a habit of doing whatever they feel like at times. Every extension I did seemed to be different between the officer you get when applying. Ask 3 people there and you'll normally get 3 different answers to your questions.

The last two times i applied they said keep it there, only to be told on collection it wasn't necessary. Welcome to CW IMM

Steven de Blaquiere yeah I hear you. No two applications are ever the same in Thailand.
