Anyone know if Chaeng Wattana is still opening on a Saturday? Also, when you renew for a Non O Extension of Stay (EoS) thru marriage, I heard if all your docs are up to date, and there's no hiccups, they give you the 1-year EoS stamp on the day. Can anyone confirm this? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office has reportedly stopped opening on Saturdays as of October 30th. Regarding the Non-O Extension of Stay through marriage, while many expect to receive the one-year stamp immediately if documents are up to date, some applicants have experienced delays and additional scrutiny due to changes in immigration staff, leading to potential issues despite having correct documentation.

No, there is still the 30 day under consideration stamp given. That has not changed. I just did mine in September. They did just give a bunch of promotions to immigration agents, so don't expect it to be trouble free, even when you have all the correct documents. For the last three years we had the same immigration agent review our documents, and never a problem. She got a promotion, and the new agent we had found three problems, that weren't actual problems, and instead of mentioning them all at once, she chose to want them corrected one after another. The supervisor that everything goes to when she was done, the one that actually approves everything, threw away all three of the corrections she wanted done, as those documents were already in our packet, and correct. My wife was ready to slap some sense into her.
Ok many thanks for the update. My wife will have to take the day off then for the spousal interview. Thought it was too good to be true that for once she wouldn’t have to.
