Participant(e) anonyme what you’re asking does not rely on “opinion” but on information. There is no official source that gives an exception for the price of extension for specific visa. So any type of visa is yet 1900 baht, until a new law says that DTV extension is now

I would avoid extending and just spend a weekend in a neighbor country. Avoids the hassle to make a queue, provide updated papers etc

I would visa run every 180 days to avoid paperwork at immigration. And dont forget to file 90 days report every time after 90 days (2 weeks before until 1 week after)
