Craig Beggs. Ok, anyone can draw the long bow.Drug dealing is also illegal in Thailand, but it you're not caught you can do it. I was just sticking to the legal facts and legally in Thailand, if on a tourist visa, you are not allowed to work. It's that simple, but please keep arguing the point if you've nothing better to do.

Craig Beggs. Rather than go down the "but, but, but" route, the OP has asked if it is lawful to do this at this stage. The answer is simply No. Nobody can work within Thailand whilst on a tourist status.

Alex P Su. I believe there is a "trailing spouse" facility on "retirement" visas, but not for a 50+ aged "child". Each would have to apply for an individual visa/extension

David Valdez. Download the TM30 app. Unlike the website it has an English language option. So easy to do TM30. Takes three minutes, and that's stopping to go get another beer mid-way through

Chris Good. You must have slipped under the radar. Bangkok are very strict with TM30. I needed a new one after three nights in Phuket or they wouldn't give me the 90-day report receipt. Now I use the app, it's so easy
