ASQ TM 30 question. Returning to BKK am I correct to assume my ASQ hotel will file a TM30. Once I am released from custody 14 days later and return to my BKK condo, as this will be an" in country move" is my condo landlord therefore NOT required to submit/file yet another TM30 with immigration. Thanks !
TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around whether a condominium landlord in Bangkok needs to file a TM30 upon the tenant's return from an Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) hotel, considering it an 'in country move'. According to various comments, while the ASQ hotel is responsible for filing a TM30 when the individual arrives, there is a debate on the necessity of filing another TM30 when the tenant relocates back to their condo. Many agree that, in practice, Bangkok immigration may not strictly enforce TM30 filings for local moves, but the official rule requires a TM30 to be submitted whenever there is a change in address lasting more than 24 hours. It’s advisable to confirm with the local immigration office for the most accurate guidance.
