very don't need to considering the fact that I'm here taking care of a family friend because of her having brain cancer we really don't know how long she's got but also Thailand keeps making all of these changes to its laws the biggest mistake being recriminalizing cannabis another law that changed almost seemingly twice and one week or twice in a month. And lastly they are still changing other laws continuelessly a lot of my friends who are Thai that I have met here including some Australians are losing their business and that's why I say you don't know what really you can do or invest in this country if the laws continuously change constantly I'm more than happy to come back someday but Thailand needs to get their stuff together other than that this place is absolutely Paradise with or without the green. I'm all for following the laws but, they can't keep them at a vague state that you really don't know what's going to be legal today and then going to end you up in prison tomorrow in that case your chances are better in Beijing with a red white and blue g-string and a Cheeto man wig on with the original Google search bar tattooed on your chest yeah you'll get some laughs and a little bit of attention but it ends in a gulag🤣🤣🤣 Hawaii is nice until there is a hurricane. You know what I mean?
But believe you me I love it here too I wish it were a little easier and they wouldn't have changed their laws as much as they have in the past year it's felt like I have seen law has changed twice in a single day. Things are a lot more closed off and empty here right now but that's because it's rainy season most likely. But I love Thailand and I hope to maybe return someday. But you can't have a proper government that allows tourists to rent property and then kick them out before they can live out their contract. If I could fix that to where only people with proper visas can rent out property the same way AIS the internet company requires you to have a proper Visa in order to get internet then Thailand would be even better and more straightforward.
Thailand is only a democracy on paper. Plus people here in Thailand love the royal family never insult the Royal Family. The British didn't do anything. Ignoring the media is how you end up on this form asking questions with everyone else laughing at you like you were to know that the laws were going to change as if you had a crystal ball bud
but yeah either have it or don't have it and just remove it completely it's simple I'm happy to abide by the laws here they just got to get their 💩 together
if that was the case they wouldn't allow people with tourists stamp exemptions and visas to rent out condos. Stop white knighting for a country that can't even decide it's on government
best look around mate I'm sure there are other options when Thailand's government is no longer the government people thought it to be because it can't stop changing its laws every week. being a puppet for the Communist Chinese and every other country in the world does not helping Thailand any. The country is getting filled with crazy people and real estate scammers that know that people on tourist visas can't fill out an entire contract for a year. Thailand is just not the place to go to anymore bro. Besides being controlled by a military coup one big check from any foreign power and Thailand changes completely
as for the person in the post it is wise to abide by the immigration laws I would expect that of anybody but I can also understand that a lot of people are white knighting for a country that can't keep laws and effect long enough for people to even know what they are. Like previously Americans could enter under the Visa free exemption 60 days Plus 30 more equals 90 days. Personally I think people just maybe need to visit Thailand when they open their borders backup rather than fly in Thailand directly. Because I've been living here since January and the laws continue to change.
