Jist noticed about the border bounce and come back on Visa Exempt. How is that possible as you will be stamped in on the DTV as it is still active and not cancelled. I tried same with O and no chance. Had to have it cancelled by issuing office.
An employee cannot do it themselves. An employee cannot apply to the Ministry of Labour for the initial WP3 application. It is the employers responsibility. This along with other company documents is then taken apply for the initial Non-B. The company must supply all of their documentation to the employee to apply for the B. When the B is issued it is back to Ministry of Labour for the WP and then the B is extended.
It is this human element that is very apparent I'm the applications. If there was none they could write a programme to process everything - seen that tired and failed so many times.
"Everything isn't black and white, if you have merit, you can be accepted if you make your case properly." - this is exactly the point. It is based quite a bit on human judgement. There are some "Must Haves" and also where judgement is applied locally.
Processing DTV's are not the only work the Embassy has to do! 🙂 🙂 You are applying for Workaytion - work remotely from Hanoi while you are waiting
Anonymous participant As we both said - they are sticklers. I went there for my "B" a few years ago. Great service if all your T's crossed and I's dotted. There used to be stories about a lady who worked in the visa section over 20 years ago. She was notorious - must be long retired now but she was a Dragon :-)
Congrats - Singapore Thai Embassy are known for being sticklers on all visa types. Years ago we wanted Multi-Entry B Visas as we worked at the regional HQ of a company in Singapore but went to Thailand often. They would only issue single B's. We just used the Visa Exempt for 99% who did not need a visa for Thailand.
Are you a Singapore citizen or a long term pass holder?
