Anonymous participant 653 That is the worry. However many of the current check at Bangkok Bank are visa type, alignment of Sim with passport and face recognition. Krungsri and other banks did the face recognition setup 2 years ago. I cannot recall setting mine up at Bangkok Bank.

Anonymous participant 485 Krungsri told me explicity they do not open accounts for people on a DTV. Now that may be the branch I asked but she held up a piece of paper which had the requirements to open. One was a vida issued by "Immigration" and listed the types.

Quite a few reasons why someone married might choose DTV over O. The requirements are less onerous is a main one for people I know who chose it.

They are usually engaged by companies for their staff I woukd have thought. Will do a worldwide deal for all overseas staff. Company I worked for in Singapore used Ernst Young bjt yiu only got first year paid for. I forgot the fee for subsequent years. Bangkok it was PwC until it became Vialto. Good luck with who you choose. Be careful as there are cowboys out there. I listened to a Webinar by a so called tax expert here recently and some of the advice I would take with a pinch of salt. Anonymous participant Yes, you need clarity about your situation ie DTV accounts. From what I have seen across all visa types the application of these rules has not been consistent.

It is not just DTV holders. Many accounts have been frozen. People reporting even after supplying requested documents at the branch they are still having to wait days for accounts to be unfrozen. Many are having accounts closed. Seems it is a bit of a mess to say the least.

This company have done mine for a number of years but services paid for as a benefit so no idea of cost

I do not know how complex you needs are but companies like these are the top of the tree with international tax matters
