it was like that for other visa’s. If you are applying for 60 day tourist visa you need

- flight booking

- hotel booking

- bank statements for past 6 months over £12,800

Once you have the visa in your passport you can apply for a certificate of entry. You will need

- flight booking

- bank statements

- ASQ booking

- sufficient insurance

online mate and then send visa with payment confirmation to the embassy, they affix the visa and send it back

before COE yes not visa. Only thing you need for your visa is hotel confirmation, flight booking and 6 months bank statements netting the minimum balance requirement
