TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for receiving approval for the Certificate of Entry (COE) after applying can vary. It generally takes between a few hours to a maximum of 3 days, although there are reports of some individuals experiencing longer waits up to a week. Factors influencing the time include the specific embassy's processing speed and whether all documents are in order. If there are delays, it is advised to contact the embassy for updates.

At each embassy it is different, in my case (Tel Aviv embassy), the whole process took less than 3 days

Thank you for asking my question. It's been a day and a half with Embassy Washington D.C. And I'm sitting on pins and needles.

If you are anxious email your embassy about your case. Just to know where in the process it is and they don't forget it.

It is important to do so if your flight date is soon

Their website tells within 3 days you'll get an answer, some people say they get it the same day, but i've heard others said 3 weeks.

Ultimately it depends on your local embassy, they process your request. For me it was in mexico and it seemed like they forgot my file because after a week i was still without answers and I had only 2 buisness days left before my flight. So i wrote an email to the embassy and one hour later I was approved.

It should take 3 days maximum but if it takes more time write to your embassy to make sure your file hasnt been forgotten.

Today i got in Thailand and all's good
