Does anyone have experience with the new mpox reporting requirement when arriving from Africa/South America? From what I understand the yellow fever, T8, online registration is to be used. From my experience registration is straightforward and you will receive QR code approval by e-mail. When inquiring Ethiopian Arlines, they inform the T8 registration will be verified to allow check-in. Again from experience with the yellow fever registration but before talk of Mpox, when arriving at Bangkok, the health department would scan the QR code and issue a slip to be presented at immigration, for me it went pretty smoothly every time. Any new experiences?

Emergency. 🩸🏥 Blood Donors Needed. A few days ago, I posted that there are 7 open Rh-Negative cases. 2 are closed. Thank you 🙏. This one is still open

.

If you do not know your blood type, please donate. Someone will need your donation anyway.

This is one open case:

O Negative. German Expat in a motorcycle accident in Udon Thani. He has lost a leg.

If you do not know your blood type, please donate. Most people do not know their blood type. Someone will use it anyway.

Donate at ANY Thai Red Cross 🩸

Udon Thani Government Hospital has removed the age restrictions and the "mad cow disease" restrictions.

60 for first-time donor in Thailand. (Except at the Udon Thani Hospital... but you must travel there).

Patient Name: Klaus Dörner

Hospital: Government Hospital Nong Prajak Udon Thani

Hospital number: 1944673

No alcohol 24 hours prior

Healthy low-fat meal at least 3 hours prior

Under 60 if first-time donor in Thailand. 70 if previously donated.

(Udon Thani has removed this restriction. Mixed reports. It's never a waste of time trying to savesomeone's life. Please try)

Donors from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, France 🇫🇷 and Ireland 🇮🇪 who lived there between 1980 to 1996 are Welcomed Back at the National Blood Centre in Bangkok and at the Government Hospital in Udon Thani. Udon Thani removed this restriction.

If you were NOT there during those years, you may donate at any Thai Red Cross.

Location of Udon Thani Hospital in comments.

**ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO THAILAND

All those hare brained entry requirements they announced last week are rescinded.

*You do NOT need proof of vax to board a flight

*You do NOT need proof of insurance to board a flight

*You do not need a negative covid test to board a flight

Entry is back the way it was BEFORE they thought up those crazy changes.

NOTE:

** It does state that people who will return to a country that requires a negative covid test to enter will be checked for proof of insurance ((insurance is for the duration of your stay PLUS 7 days)

Thanx one and all for the updates on posting the policy (y) **

Hi, regarding unvaccinated travelers going to thailand.

Does anyone know if we can choose either RT-PCR test -or- ATK test? Or do we need both to enter Thailand.

Thank you
