I don’t recall there ever being direct flights from USA to CNX. You’ll probably need to fly to BKK, then take a domestic airline (eg - Thai Smile, which has several flights each day and reasonable fares). Good luck.

My partner and I have just completed a 1

month road trip in the north. We visited Chiang Mai, Pai, Phrae, Nan, Dong Phaya, Phayao, Mae Chan and Chiang Rai … and many places in between. It’s been awesome! If you want off the beaten track, I can highly recommend heading north. Happy trails.

Thailand is one of the most dangerous places in the world for road deaths, especially for motorcyclists. More taxis have functioning seatbelts these days, so a taxi is relatively safe. 🖖
