Hi everyone! I’m applying for my DTV and in the travel information section of the online form it requires to fill out flight number, accommodation details and Thai phone number. The issue is that I don’t have these info available at the moment given I’m planning to move to Thailand at the beginning of October.
I am living in Bangkok on an LTR visa and this June was my first complete months of rent an apartment in Bangkok. For all expenses, ie. rent, transportation, girlfriend’s partial expenses, eating, etc. I will have racked up approximately $2,600 USD. I wanted to spend no more than $2000 USD per month thus feeling a little over spent this month. I feel I neither overspend nor underspend in general. What is the consensus out there on my June spending for a single retiree in Bangkok?
Looking to stay near the airport, solo, one night only. Recommendations for aroom under 1000 bahtwould be great. Let me know if they have a shuttle service and food/drink on premises or nearby.
I've never been to KL and don't plan on exploring the town this trip.
Hello, I will be entering Thailand soon and my accommodation is at a friend's house. If I write my home address in the "where are you staying" section of the TDAC form, will the immigration officer question me? Or should I make a hotel reservation for 1-3 days and write the hotel address?
Coming to Bangkok for shopping and to visit the attractions and nighlife. I will stay 4 nights. Can anyone suggest any budget friendly hotel to stay on to get easy access to MRT AND BTS ? Mayb siam or Sukhumvit area?
I am visiting my partner in Sisaket in August for three weeks. Last time I was there for 14 months on a retirement Visa but this time as it's a short stay it will be on Visa exceptions. My question is does anyone know with the new digital arrival card whether there will be an issue listing accommodation at our private address instead of a commercial property like a hotel.
