How can I find a trustworthy property agent to manage my condominium rental in Bangkok while I'm abroad?

I have an And Everything Else question.

I am looking for a Property Agent to manage renting OUT a condominium in Bangkok. I realise many things can be informal compared to other parts of the world, however I’d like some formal protections in place before strangers start inspecting the condo (while I am abroad). Can anyone recommend a trustworthy Property Agent who will sign an agency agreement up front and represent my best interests. Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks recommendations for a trustworthy property agent in Bangkok to manage the rental of their condominium while they are overseas, emphasizing the need for formal agreements for protection. Commenters suggest either using the building's management or finding active agents in the vicinity who handle rentals.

Check to see what agents are active in your building and use one of them, they will take one month rent commission on a 12 month contract. You can check out condos for rent in your block on Hipflat.

Thanks again. One last question … is your experience with Khun Pat as a tenant or a landlord?

Why not get the juristic person to rent it out

I’m not sure how this would help me (my understanding is that a “juristic person” would be used in the management of an entire condo building/complex, not an individual condo). Am I missing something?

Most offices don't facilitate rentals, they simply hold the keys and let agents show the units.
