When arriving in Thailand by plane in Phuket and having 60 days visa exemption, can onward or exit ticket be train or bus ticket?

Can it be, for example, bus ticket from Hat Yai to Penang, Malaysia or it has to be plane ticket?

Hello,

I'm an Italian citizen currenlty in Thailand with a tourist visa. I'm planning a visa run to Singapore to get another tourist visa (for at least 2 more months). Does anyone have any experience with the Thai Embassy in Singapore? I only have 3 days to spend there, I'm wondering how long does the process take.

Also, if not Singapore, which countries do you recommend to do visa runs by air?

Planning first trip to Nong Kai then across the land border to Laos. I'm on Non O.

(1) If I want a multiple reentry permit, can I get it at the border checkpoint itself ( I have seen one report here - yes for single reentry permit - my question is about multiple reentry permit ). Or should I get it at the Nong Khai immigration office? Or in your experience better to get it locally like BKK?

(2) Not Thai Visa related but... best way to get Lao visa - eVisa (pls recommend website) or just walk up with required documentation at border is smarter?

Much appreciate answers to either question and thank you...

Hello everyone

I'm new in here and obviously I've never been to Thailand before This year I am planning my trip but I am not sure about many things. first I am American I have already heard what documents I needBut I have a lot of confusion and I hope someone can help me.in addition to passport, insurance, and ticket round trip. How do I do for the time I want to stay, for example, I have heard of 30 days visa or 60 or 90 days visa. but how do you apply for a 60 or 90 day visa? Also, if you apply for a 60-day visa, for example, and the month passes and you don't want to stay there for any reason, you can leave whenever you want and that's it?

Hi there, can anyone tell me how the airport transfer from Phuket to your SHA+ hotel happens ? It’s not mentioned on my booking anywhere? I’m guessing it’s automatically sorted by the airport or the hotel ? Also it’s not mentioned on the sandbox requirements to download the ‘ morchana’ app but I’ve seen some people talk about it online. I’ve downloaded this app & it’s not working so 🤷‍♂️

I have just arrived in BKK on an STV from the UK and the journey was a breeze! Waaay easier than I was expecting it to be so I wanted to let people know exactly what I did in case anyone was thinking of making the trip:

1. Booked my flights with Finnair

1. Insurance is with Staysure and I bought the unlimited coverage with 100 day extended stay

1. Pre-flight PCR was with DAM (midnight guaranteed)

1. SHA+ was via Agoda (the hotel was particularly basic but it was only for one night)

1. Accommodation for three month is booked via booking.com however I have free cancellation so can still be free to explore

1. I submitted the required documentation to the Thai Embassy in London and secured my STV before I applied for the Thai Pass (Important!)

1. Once my visa was approved I applied for the Thai Pass and was approved almost immediately (like 48 hours and it was confirmed)

1. I printed everything off twice so I had one copy in a folder and one as backup in my bag (all of the above) and at every checkpoint I just handed them the whole folder.

Hope this helps someone 👍
