Is there a form I need to fill out when flying with Qatar Airways back to the UK?

I'm flying back with qatar this weekend to UK for family wedding. I've received an email stating I need to fill out this form to hand in at airport,I presume at check in desk. Just a heads up if you're unaware as I was, not sure if it's just a Qatar requirement.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers flying back to the UK on Qatar Airways have recently received notifications about filling out a specific form prior to check-in at the airport. Users in the forum shared their experiences, with some stating that they filled it out but were not asked to show it at the check-in desk, while others reported being asked for it. It appears that this form is not universally mandatory, and requirements may vary by travel date and destination. Overall, many noted the quick nature of completing the form and considered it somewhat redundant. Recent travelers suggested being prepared to fill it out, though experiences with enforcement seem mixed.

hi Pauline. I’m flying out from BKK to The UK next week. Did you have to show or were you asked any covid results when you did ? I know There are no requirements for the Uk anymore however I wonder if they were funny at the airport here in Thailand ? Thank you

I flew back from Bangkok with Qatar Airways last month, this form wasn't asked anymore. In any case, you will find it at the check-in desk

I few people have said this. If I didn't do it with my luck I'd probably be the one who gets asked😄

It’s just an acknowledgment form, though a bit redundant, but it’s three seconds work to sign and date so why not. (I signed one of these in the way through DOH last Nov)

it's no big deal I just wasn't aware of it but Qatar emailed me in plenty of time to organise it and thankfully there are no restrictions for getting back to UK, travel is definitely becoming easier but unfortunately the prices aren't!

how long is your transit? Mine is 1h20 and wonder if its enough time if they start asking for insurance docs and checking vaccines passports etc?

oh ok. When you say transit, are you changing airlines? So that you have to go through immigration? If you are, tell a member of staff , so that they can speed you through. And have your luggage tagged Rapid Transit at first check in.

Agree there’s always the bitching and moaning crew old airplanes no tvs . Not true. They use new aircraft on this route 787s . All have TVs . You get people well I flew them and it was an old plane yeah 20 years ago. It’s boring with people who have nothing to do with their time
