Thanks for the positive and negative feedback today I'll investigate the 60day extension for visiting family. What physical proof is required to apply for this extension. I understand application form however there must be some proof required

Retirement isn't my thing as I've another decade before government pension kicks in

I understand the border bounce process. Simply drive to the border get stamped out of Thailand drive threw to the other countries border then in and out of Malaysia and return to Thailand

My visa was applied for legally and approved by a Thai consulate no under the table payment was made

oh yes I've tried reporting to immigration every 3months as the borders are closed and they aren't interested. I try to keep myself legal and if the immigration office isn't interested in people trying to keep legal I don't know what else to do. My plans were to fly out of Thailand the start of April however due to Covid those plans were screwed. The purpose of the question today was to get helpful information not being slagged off at. My plans are still to fly out of Thailand when things settle. My Thai wife with or without me as my home country has its own problems with COVID
