Can I extend my Non-O multi-entry visa while still in Thailand?

You don’t need to switch to 60 days spouse. Now till 26 sept u need to get all the document done for the marriage extension. Either 400k baht in bank or 40k baht of income

Well if your plan is not to get a yearly extension of stand and it's indeed to "fly outta here" you either need to do it BEFORE the 26th of Sept when the amnesty you're on expires

OR

you need to get the 60 day visit thai family extension and then fly out in Nov when that runs out.

A VISA does not let you stay IN thailand it lets you request to get in and if they let you in you get stamped in for the days that visa allows.

You have a visa for a year, BUT that doesn't mean you can stamp in to thailand and stay a whole year. That visa has a 90 day limit PER entry, meaning when you came in, you were stamped in for 90 days because you held that visa..

LOOK at your little blue entry stamp in your passport it should have the date you stamped in and the date you're admitted to stay AND those dates should be 89 days apart. Your 90 day entry stamp ran out MONTHS ago and you're on amnesty. AND because if that you have the choices I outlined in the previous comment available

I think you're confusing a couple things. You got a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type O visa based on marriage from a thai consulate in another country. That visa is good for a year from the date it's issued and good for unlimited entries to thailand. Each entry gets you stamped in for 90 days (and normally when there isn't a world changing virus running amuck in the world) you would just go to a border stamp out of thailand, stamp in and out of another country and then stamp back into thailand to get you a NEW 90 day entry stamp and you would do that for the whole validity of the visa.

You can't do that so you're faced with three choices, get a 60 day visit family extension to buy you time to get your funds in the bank and seasoned, then apply for a yearly extension of stay after that OR prepare to leave on or by Sept 26th when the amnesty you're on now runs out

you're telling me in that time you never thought about getting the 400K baht in the bank for 2 months so you could apply for a yearly extension based on marriage at the immigration office?

Well, be that as it may you MIGHT <- as in maybe, be able to apply for a 60 day visit thai family extension that doesn't require proof of funds at the immigration office

AND

hopefully that would give you time enough to get the funds in a thai bank account in your name only and let them season the 2 months they need to be before you then apply for the year extension

Put 400k in Thai bank. Look into switching to a visit Thai spouse 60 day extension. No financial requirements for that. Then you will be on a proper stamp rather than amnesty. Two months of money in the bank and then you'll be able to do a regular 1 year extension. It needs seasoning, so get the money in before you do the special once off 60 day extension. Showing 40k/month income may be an alternative to the 400k in the bank.

Put money in the bank, complete the requirements. Simple as that.

What kind of extension are you asking for. If you meet the requirements there is no reason they can't extend it as your not on amnesty.
