I would really like to know too if Canada is providing this letter for covid is not under control, and I can't do the quaranteen at my parents home as it's a law that you can't do it with ppl over 65 years old... This is Ontario

I cannot get a retirement visa while still in Thailand with just an original 60 day tourist visa... This is what I am saying

Just to let ppl know you cannot get your first retirement visa whilst still in Thailand... You need to do it in your country of residence. Extentions of retirement can be done inside Thailand. Source... Samui Immigration

Marc Skidmore I really hope, but don't count on it at all. We can leave! There are flights... And 'Elvis' wants us to leave the building even if we are the only tourists left to support that part of the economy. It doesn't make sense but thailand wants to clean up the tourists who try to live here.

I think you are right, Stan. I asked around visa agents about retirement visa and you have to go to the country you are a resident... Especially because of criminal records check.
