If you exit and re enter before the use by date or enter before date you will effectively get 2 years out of this visa..

Warning you will need to get a re entry permit for the 2nd year as if you exit with out it the visa will be voided.

I’m in Bangkok Chris so it’s the closest boarder to me.

I have used this crossing before just not on a weekend.

Get a single entry tourist visa before you leave the UK that will get you stamped in for 60 days on arrival and you can extend it for 30 days.

a multiple entry tourist visa Kent.

It’s only available in your home country and it’s valid for 6 months with each entry getting a 60 day stamp.

If you leave and re enter before the enter before date you will get a final 60 days that you extend by 30 days giving you about 9 months.

You would need to get the visa just before you leave home.
