You can then go apply for another as long as you’re still married

I’m in Bangkok Chris so it’s the closest boarder to me.

I have used this crossing before just not on a weekend.

Cheers for the heads up though.

Is the Ban Phu Nam Ron boarder open weekends?

Will be driving myself.

Get a single entry tourist visa before you leave the UK that will get you stamped in for 60 days on arrival and you can extend it for 30 days.

a multiple entry tourist visa Kent.

It’s only available in your home country and it’s valid for 6 months with each entry getting a 60 day stamp.

If you leave and re enter before the enter before date you will get a final 60 days that you extend by 30 days giving you about 9 months.

You would need to get the visa just before you leave home.

So you just had 4 months in Thailand with one single entry tourist visa one 30 day extension and one 30 day visa exempt by doing a boarder bounce.

If you’re going back to your home country for 2 months you should apply for a multiple entry tourist visa that you can get nearly 9 months out of if used correctly.

There is always a chance a immigration officer could stop you on any entry and ask you for proof of funds accommodation and onward travel.

The officer may have stamped you incorrectly, but It’s your responsibility to check your passport entry stamps. If you had you could have had it corrected free of charge.
