Money need to be in the bank, potentially weird from abroad ,(retirement) before to apply to move to 90d non-o visa. And you need to have 15-20 (depends where) days left on your current legal stay when you apply.

Erh? You do it before getting stamped out.

There is a special line before getting stamped. It's all on the way on the left side in the immigration ("exigration") hall.

After you got your reentry you exit.

At least that's what I've done last times. Last in August i think.

You can get reentry permits 24h at dmk or bkk immigrations before you leave.

So can delay getting them. I would say apply for new passport as soon as possible. Get reentry when you need it.

now the question was for initial visa it seems to me: so for non-O 90 days visa for retirement you need to prove that money came from my abroad. For the extensions you do not need to prove that.
