Dear Tod & al.,
I read somewhere that we need to prove to the immigration that the money came from abroad not sure if this concerns the non O retirement or non O marriage visa. Can someone clarify ? I will be applying for non O marriage extension so not sure I need to show immigration my wise statement as proof or request a FET to the bank, I will go for the bank money method ie the 400 K
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about whether they need to prove the origin of funds when applying for a Non-O marriage extension in Thailand. Comments clarified that there is no requirement to prove where the funds come from for Non-O visas based on marriage or for year extensions, regardless of whether the funds were originally from abroad. Another user expressed concern about future applications for a Non-O visa based on retirement and asked for guidance on proving funds if needed.
