Uk license is convertible to ThI license. You still have to pass the physical test and sit the videos.

It's all pretty easy.

If you have a visa to stay in Thailand like Married to a Thai or a retirement visa you can own a vehicle. I have a car and a motorcycle.

Driving to Laos or Cambodia is easy enough Vietnam not so easy. If I can sort it out anyone can, I hate paperwork and bureaucracy.

You don't need any money in a bank but you need covid medical insurance to cover 100,000. And all the other embassy requirements. The only thing you don't need is a visa, Aus passport just turn up and get 30 days.

I did say check with embassy or customs for allowances. Dumb to bring in prohibited products like I said.

no idea but it's not a good idea here. Things can get very nasty for the slightest trace of prohibited drugs. If you have a prescription you should be ok but check with the Thai embassy or Thai customs before. Not sure on things like that but better safe than locked up.

Don't, get it here. Dr are not expensive medicine very cheap. Why take a chance. Dumb thing to do and get caught.
