 not for Australia, but they cut off the readable strip. Which invalidates it for travel.

I know America punches holes in it.

 the passport is still a valid document as long as they haven't put a hole in it or cut the bottom readable ID section off.

If they have I would be buying a ticket at the airport and showing them the passport. Viable other options are the train.

 it was the fake Pran foundation the fake Visa center volunteer visa that has made it very difficult and annoying for all real volunteers.

 there are a couple of foundations who have been able to assist people off that visa at a premium.
