I met and married my Thai wife, of 6 years, here in the U.S. while she was attending University. I retired last October, and we are planning to move to Thailand on November 1st of this year for at least 2 years. We are in the process of getting our Virginia marriage certificate authenticated so we can register our with the local provincial office when we arrive in Thailand.

I will be entering Thailand with a 90-day non-O visa and applying for a 1-year spousal visa upon our arrival. We will be living with my in-laws while we look for a house or condominium to purchase. We are expecting to be living with my in-laws for a while as we will be renovating any property we buy.

I understand we need to have my wife's Blue Book when applying for the non-O spousal visa. The Blue Book is currently in my mother-in-law's name, as my wife bought that house for her mom. How should we navigate the Blue Book requirement?

Any advice is appreciated!
